The main objective of this study was to assess knowledge and attitudes of Georgian population towards women’s political participation in Georgia.

Population: Georgian speaking adult population (18 years old and over), excluding the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia). Except nationwide, data is representative of Tbilisi, Telavi, Akhaltsikhe, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Batumi, urban, rural, east Georgia and west Georgia areas of Georgia.

Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.

Sample Size: 3885 respondents.

Response rate: 68%

Survey mode: Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI).

Interview languages: Georgian.

Fieldwork Dates: October 10, 2014 to October 30, 2014.
