Caucasus Barometer is an annual survey about socio-economic issues and political attitudes conducted by the Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) in the three countries of the South Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. The project started in 2004. Representative nationwide data is available since 2008 (before 2010, the survey was titled The Data Initiative).
Population: Adults (18 years old and over), excluding the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (Mountainous Karabakh) and Nakhichevan.
Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.
Sample Size: 1418 respondents.
Response rate: 75%.
Survey mode: Face-to-face paper-and-pencil interview (PAPI).
Interview languages: Azerbaijani
Fieldwork Dates: October 1, 2011 to November 2, 2011.
Results are weighted.
