Fact sheet

Knowledge of and attitudes toward the EU in Georgia survey was conducted by Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) in 2009. It intended to gauge Georgian-speaking residents’ knowledge of and attitudes toward the European Union.

Population: Adults (18 years old and over), excluding the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia).

Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.

Sample Size: 1683 respondents.

Response rate: 70%.

Survey mode: Face-to-face paper-and-pencil interview (PAPI).

Interview languages: Georgian.

Fieldwork Dates: July 26, 2009 to August 7, 2009.

Results are weighted.
