The main objective of this study was to assess knowledge and attitudes of Georgian population towards various policy issues in the country. This poll intended to help various stakeholders to diagnose and address different issues of public concern, to foster the development of more responsive policies and governancePopulation: A nationally representative sample of Georgian speakers, besides the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia), including urban, rural, east Georgia and west Georgia areas. Also additional representative samples of 12 self governing cities of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Poti, Rustavi, Gori, Akhaltsikhe, Ozurgeti, Ambrolauri, Zugdidi, Telavi and Mtskheta.
Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.
Sample Size: 3,942 respondents.
Response rate: 66%
Survey mode: Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI).
Interview languages: Georgian.
Fieldwork Dates: March 26, 2014 to April 18, 2014.
Results are weighted.
