Fact sheet

Knowledge of and attitudes toward the EU in Georgia survey was conducted by Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) in 2013. It intended to gauge Georgia's residents' knowledge of and attitudes toward the European Union.

Population: Adults (18 years old and over), excluding the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia).

Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification. Representative on Capital, Urban Georgian-speaking, urban Georgian-speaking, Armenian and Azerbaijani minorities residing in Samtkhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti

Sample Size: 2462 respondents.

Response rate: 80%.

Survey mode: Face-to-face paper-and-pencil interview (PAPI).

Interview languages: Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian

Fieldwork Dates: June 29, 2013 to July 20, 2013.

Results are weighted.
