The main objective of this study was to assess knowledge and attitudes of Georgian population towards various policy issues in the country. This poll intended to help various stakeholders to diagnose and address different issues of public concern, to foster the development of more responsive policies and governance
Population: Georgia excluding occupied territories of Abkhazia and former Autonomous District of South Ossetia. Except nationwide, data is representative of urban, rural, East and West Georgia areas, as well as Georgian and non-Georgian speaking population. Additionally, representative sample is present for the self-governing cities of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Gori, Telavi, Akhaltsikhe, Ozurgeti, Mtskheta and of Gurjaani municipality.
Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.
Sample Size: 4448 respondents.
Response rate: 66%.
Survey mode: Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI).
Interview languages: Georgian, Armenian, Azerbaijani
Fieldwork Dates: August 8, 2015 to September 10, 2015.
