Caucasus Barometer is a regular survey about socio-economic issues and political attitudes conducted by the Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) in the two countries of the South Caucasus: Armenia and Georgia. The project started in 2004. Representative nationwide data is available since 2008 (before 2010, the survey was titled The Data Initiative). The 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2024 waves of the survey were conducted in Armenia and Georgia only.
Population: Adults (18 years old and over), excluding populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia).
Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.
Number of completed interviews: 1,509 respondents.
Response rate: 23%
Survey mode: Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI).
