The main objective of this study was to explore the attitudes and perceptions of the population to understand how well-informed people are about the state security system, how protected they feel, and what they know about the security of other groups in society.

Population: Adult population (18 years old and over), excluding the populations living in territories affected by military conflict (South Ossetia and Abkhazia). Besides nationwide, data is representative of Tbilisi, large urban, small urban, rural areas of Georgia and minority settlements.

Sample Design: Multi-stage cluster sampling with preliminary stratification.

Sample Size: 2,544 respondents.

Response rate: 30.5%

Survey mode: Computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI).

Interview languages: Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijani.

Fieldwork Dates: May 27, 2022 to July 3, 2022.

Results are weighted.
